< All Topics

In cyber security, a red team is an invasive security professional or group of professionals with the expertise to attack and break into system defences. Organisations deploy the group to simulate attacks against the organisational network to test the existing security policy’s effectiveness. Red teams work hand-in-hand with blue teams to analyse and provide holistic solutions to cyber security issues, thus helping companies ensure their computer networks are protected from a wide range of vulnerabilities. Enterprises expect red teams to keep up with evolving security trends to help companies remain protected against emerging cyber security threats.
