cyber security training - preparing for ISO 27001 certification

This ISO 27001 training course is aimed at helping businesses who are considering pursuing ISO 27001 certification to understand the requirements and preparations required.  Armed with a greater understanding of the process, organisations can make an informed decision about whether this is right for them.

Course Overview

ISO 27001 is a standard that provides requirements for setting up and managing an information security management system (ISMS). The standard helps organisations manage security threats facing critical assets, such as intellectual property, financial systems and data, employee details, customer or client data, and information concerning trusted third parties. It specifies the requirements needed to establish, implement, maintain, and the continued improvement of ISMS within a company’s context.

Cyber Security training - preparing for iso 27001 certification

ISO 27001 is often used as a framework to help achieve a higher standard of security within an organisation. Increasingly, ISO 27001 certification may be a requirement by a partnering business in the supply chain used to validate a strong focus on information security.

The course focuses on preparing your team for the ISO 27001 Accreditation process and will ensure they understand:

The Background and Benefits of ISO 27001
Key elements of ISO 27001
How is ISO 27001 assessed
How to assess your readiness
How to build an implementation plan

The course runs from 9:30am through to 4:30pm. Refreshments are available from 9am, and can either take place at CyberScale’s dedicated training facility on the outskirts of Norwich, or be delivered remotely.  As this process is personal to your business the course is also available as a closed session focusing specifically on your business needs.
